The Corvette was completely redesigned in 1968, and in 1969 only small changes were prevalent. The Stingray name re-appeared as one word on the front fenders; back-up lights were combined with the center taillights and the ignition was now moved to the steering column. Since 1965 Corvettes came standard with four-wheel disc brakes and just over 38,000 Corvettes were sold in 1969 with 16,000 being convertibles.

This car is presented in a dazzling Fathom Green exterior with moderate brightwork, including the optional fender vent trim, and a black convertible top. The interior is finished in green vinyl with a center console and AM/FM radio. Powering this car is the legendary 427-cid, 400-hp V-8 engine that is connected to an all-synchromesh four-speed manual transmission. It sports a fully-independent suspension, Rally wheels with chrome beauty rings, dual mirrors; power steering and brakes.
