This Auburn features many period-unique highlights and characteristics. It has a radiator shell, grille design that was for 1934-only, twin spotlights, sidemounts with twin mirrors, Trippe “speedlights,” wire wheels with disc covers, folding windshield and “humpback” trunk space. It has been equipped with a Buick straight eight-cylinder engine with a floor-shift manual transmission. It has a beautiful burgundy and red two-tone finish and has wide whitewall tires. The interior is a matching burgundy with damascene dash and typical Auburn elegance, plus a white convertible top.
The restoration on this Auburn is older with a new paint job that was completed a few years ago. It is reported to be a great running and driving example.
