1971 Corvettes were virtually identical in appearance to the previous model inside and out. This was the final year for the fiber optics light monitoring system, the headlight washer system, and the M22 heavy-duty four-speed manual gearbox. For the first time, air conditioning was installed on most of the cars, with nearly 53-percent so ordered. Engines were detuned with reduced compression ratios to tolerate lower octane fuel as well. Not changing, however, was the iconic status of the Corvette and the huge following it had in the automotive industry.

This particular Corvette is offered with a 350-cid, 270-hp V-8 engine and automatic transmission. The red paint is in outstanding condition and the brightwork is also equally stunning. The interior is finished in black leather and the dash is accented nicely by wood trim and features factory air conditioning. Rally wheels and the optional luggage rack are also found on this attractive roadster. Offered with low miles, this Corvette is one to not overlook.
