According to the numerous pieces of documentation that is included in the sale of this outstanding 1968 Camaro, it received final assembly at the Van Nuys, California plant in October, 1967. The original dealership of record is Harbor Chevrolet in Long Beach. The car was initially purchased by Mr. Kenneth J. Irvine of Pasedena on November 10, 1967. Among the records are the Protect-O-Plate and a binder of thorough records that document this car’s components and more.

The California “black plate” car has its correct drivetrain and is driven by the L30 327-cid, 275-hp V-8 Turbo Fire engine mated to an M35 Powerglide two-speed transmission and the rear end is a 10-bolt with 3.08:1 gearing. This Chevrolet is finished in the uncommon and striking color of code H, Grecian Green. The interior of this outstanding car exhibits the deluxe option, with optional deluxe black vinyl bucket seats with black and white houndstooth cloth inserts. This is reported to be an option that is considered to be rare. Other features include factory air conditioning that is in proper operating condition, teak steering wheel, center console with clock, AM/FM radio (original AM radio included) with rear speaker; power steering and brakes. Factory Rally wheels are fit with new and period-correct Firestone Super Sport Wide Oval tires with pinstripe whitewalls.
