Lincoln’s long awaited, top-line Continental Mark II debuted at Paris in October 1955, with a list price exceeding $10,000. Its clean styling remains a design benchmark today. There were two Mark II convertibles built in period, one by Derham that was the personal car of Mrs. Ford, and the other by Hess & Eisenhardt for a Chicago Lincoln dealer. This magnificent example is in the spirit of these cars. Powered by a 368-cid Y Block V-8 with a four-barrel carburetor and three-speed Turbo-Drive automatic transmission, this Continental was expertly crafted and beautifully restored. This is an opportunity to own a magnificent automobile that will be the centerpiece of any collection.
