Offered as a very special Oldsmobile; this convertible was originally delivered by La Tour Oldsmobile in May of 1953 to the Foley family of Euclid, Ohio. It was the 1,255th body built in the Linden, New Jersey in 1953, and is finished in Polar White with ivory and blue leather upholstery. This attractive Oldsmobile is powered by the 303-cid, 165-hp Rocket 98 V-8 engine mated to a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.

It is believed that this car was initially produced as a demonstrator unit as it is equipped with on/off switch under the dash to show the advantages of power steering. Key features also include power seat, power windows, power antenna, auto-tune radio and Autronic-Eye headlight dimmer. A dark blue cloth folding top, that is also power-operated, makes this car a true stand-out at any show. The elegant yet simple lines of the 1953 Oldsmobile can be fully appreciated on this uniquely optioned convertible.
