This custom bodied 1929 Model A Huckster Wagon was built by the Stoughton Body Co. of Stoughton, Wisconsin. This type of body style was originally used to sell produce or other peddler goods. Stoughton made numerous types of bodies that ranged from panel to express to platform for the Ford chassis.

The 200.5-cid inline four-cylinder engine has been re-bored to .080-inch oversize and the rods and mains have been re-babbited, and the tappets are adjustable. The transmission is a floor-shift three-speed sliding gear type. This handsome truck runs and drives in an excellent manner; it received a total restoration in 1980. Among the many accessories found on the Model A are a radiator stone guard, single sidemount with cloth cover, dual rearview mirrors and external sun shade. The curtains roll down on three sides to enclose the nicely finished natural wood bed area from the elements. The finish is a two-tone presentation of dark green over black fenders and the lettering and stripes on the produce truck display a period style. This is an uncommon opportunity to acquire a custom bodied Model A Ford.
