In 1968, Chevrolet restyled the Chevelle with a three-inch shortened wheelbase and all new design that included a rakish front end with bold sweeping lines that stretched from bumper to bumper, as well as a longer hood and shortened rear deck. The recessed rear window was altered into a fastback appearance and the rear side windows were given a vee-look.

The Ash Gold example that is being offered is an incredibly original Chevelle that has only 8,629 miles registered on the odometer. It is powered by a 307-cid, 200-hp V-8 engine that is coupled to a column-shift automatic transmission with front bench seating. The interior is presented in black, as is the optional vinyl top. Additional features include power steering, Rally wheels and bias-ply whitewall tires. This Chevelle is outstanding throughout and can be considered of museum quality.
