This red Triumph is equipped with an inline-6 cylinder engine with SU HS6 carburetors and a 4-speed manual transmission. The previous owner meticulously cared for this car, and has always stored in a climate controlled garage. The car has been completely re-painted in 1992 including the engine compartment (with engine removed), trunk, door jams and wheels. The engine compartment is very original, and is very clean and detailed to near factory condition. The car shows as it would have in 1972.

Engine was dismantled and tolerances verified and any and all items in need of repair where either replaced rebuild or repaired. The black boot cover for the top is in great shape. The spare has a red-wall tire on a re-painted steel wheel. The original jack and tire wrench is included. The car retains a OEM stock top with the reflective bands, top does show wear and some discoloring of plastic windows, top was not replaced in trying to keep the originality of the car which is very important to true Triumph buffs, a new top is included in the sale for those who would like to upgrade the top.

The car retains its original interior also keeping in the charm and originality, a true example of what a 1972 Triumph would have looked like when purchased back in 1972.
