The 911SC Cabriolet was introduced at the 1982 Geneva auto show as Porsche’s first factory built convertible since the last open 356 cars two decades prior and the 1983 SC cabriolet is the introduction of the convertible to the 911 model series. In a time when the newly designed, curvaceous turbo body style was sweeping the globe with the 930 cars, a few German conversion companies were implementing the design into non factory wide body cars; a look that still reigns as one of the best automotive designs ever.

Just out of a private collection, the 83 Porsche 911 SC Cabriolet Euro offered here is truly an exciting example. The car features an older, very well done wide body conversion and exterior restoration. The flares are done in all steel and masterfully grafted to the existing body. The car is finished in aggressive blue with matching blue fuchs over dark blue interior. This 911 offers much in performance as it still retains its original Euro Spec 3 liter flat six which features nearly 27 more horsepower than the US version. Today, the car remains in very nice driver condition. The paint is excellent and features a new convertible top and rear window. The color coded Fuchs are flawless and feature newer tires. The Blue interior remains largely original and remains very nice showing normal wear for its age. This is an opportunity to own a unique, desirable Euro 911 SC that offers much in performance, delivery and shear stage presence.
