This handsome 1939 Ford Convertible is a true survivor. After long term storage, the car received extensive mechanical service work in 1993. In 1995 it received a Rouge Award from The Early Ford V-8 Club Eastern Meet in Farmington, Connecticut. The interior, including seat, door panels and woodgrain dash are original. The front half of the car is original black paint. The rear has been repainted and shows considerable cracking. The older top is the correct material and fits perfectly. Rumble seat is original and in excellent condition. The car was acquired in 2010, rebuilding the engine and installing new Firestone tires. The car has been used sparingly since and the 71,142 miles on the odometer is thought to be original. The car is a pleasure to drive.
