Carroll Shelby designed and built the Cobra but he also designed the Sunbeam Tiger as a lightening fast, agile, fun-to-drive Ford V8 powered sports car, such as this fine example. This car is Certified as an Original Sunbeam Tiger by the Sunbeam Tigers Owners Association; Certificate of Authenticity comes with the car. Ford 289 V8 powered, it also comes with its original Ford “Top Loader” 4-speed transmission and original Dana rear end. The older restoration was recently freshened with New Paint; New Brakes, New LAT-70 Style polished wheels and Tires; Aluminum Tiger Valve Covers; HEI Ignition; Rebuilt Tach; Weather Stripping; etc. Listed in the International Registry of Sunbeam Tigers and in The Book of Norman, the premier reference works for Sunbeam Tigers.
