This 1958 BMW Isetta Convertible shows just over 1,800 miles on the odometer since a beautiful restoration was performed in the late 1990s. Convertible Isettas are rare, even when they were new and while all Isettas had a fabric sunroof to complement the single front-opening door, the convertible model was built with a folding fabric rear canopy, incorporating the glass rear window.
This particular rolling egg runs and drives like new and is presented in white with a beige basket weave leatherette interior, period accessories and the original running-in instructions on a sticker in the front window. After one drive you will understand the cheeky attitude that makes Isettas as popular today as they were at the dawn of the Swinging 60s.
