Chassis no. 95030, engine no. IOU-1688. This rare and desirable vehicle was built by the Hertz Company and was to be used as part of their Chicago-based rental car fleet. The car has a Yellow Cab chassis, which is powered by a Continental, six-cylinder engine. The touring car body has a non-folding, “California” top complete with a headliner and removable side curtains, including glass windows! This example was reportedly used as a Chicago taxi until 1934. A very well-preserved and original car that has truly survived in untouched condition and appears to be complete with all of its proper and original components.
