This lot consists of two vehicles; a complete vehicle and a cutaway training model.

The complete vehicle is PZSH-IV, is in original, unrestored condition. It looks to be complete and would be ideal restoration project. Exterior paint looks good. The interior looks good. There is a problem with the air pressure system for the tires. The engine does run, but skips due to a blown head gasket and should be rebuilt.

The cutaway training vehicle is complete and would be an ideal parts donor for the complete vehicle, or complimentary display piece.

The PSZH-IV is a Hungarian armored personnel carrier that went into production in the late 1960s. It is a 4x4 vehicle that is also amphibious, being propelled in the water by two water-jets. The PSZH-IV is similar in appearance to the Soviet BRDM-2 and carries the same armament of a 14.5-mm heavy machine gun and a 7.62-mm light machine gun. Its light armor offers protection from small arms fire and artillery fragments. Large doors on each side of the hull allow access to the troop compartment. Two ports on each of the vehicles allow troops to fire their weapons from inside the PSZH-IV.

The PSZH-IV was used by Hungary, the former Czechoslovakia and the former East Germany, primarily in internal security and border patrol units. It was also exported to Iraq. None are known to be in service with any country at this time.
