This very tidy Trans Am was built in the 10th anniversry year of the models introduction. The 1979 Pontiac has many options and is a remarkable survivor condition car that shows approximately 45,000 miles on the odometer, which are reported as actual from new. The Trans Am was powered by a 400-cid, 180-hp V-8 engine, this example is mated to a console-mounted automatic transmission and is finished in Cameo White with a two-tone gray interior and blue external graphics, including the legendary “screaming eagle” hood decal. Both the paintwork and interior are in very nice overall condition and are commensurate with the car’s low mileage, as is the engine, bay, and underbody. Other desirable features include glass T-tops, power windows and Rally II wheels. This was the last year before increasing Federal emission standards.
