Buick introduced the Grand National in 1982 as a high-performance variant of its Regal model to celebrate the marque’s success in the NASCAR Winston Cup series. The model was not built in 1983 but returned for the 1984-1987 model years. This marked the final year of production for the special rear-drive Grand National as well as the highest production totals of the series – 20,193 built. This pristine example has just 6, 903 kilometers from new and is like most GN’s, lavishly equipped - power steering, brakes, windows, locks, tilt steering wheel, cruise control, air conditioning and an AM/FM stereo radio with cassette player.
