Unquestionably the most iconic Ferrari ever built and amongst the most desirable automobiles in the world, the 250 GTO has achieved mythical status in the collector car world for its incredible combination of period racing success, stunning looks, and amazing performance.
This 250 GTO model is built by Amalgam as a 1:8 scale recreation of chassis no. 3987 GT, a long-term member of Ralph Lauren’s renowned collection. Produced under license from Ferrari and with the assistance of Mark Reinwald, the curator of Lauren’s collection, it is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity listing it as the 99th example of 99 produced. Constructed by hand following a 3D scan of the actual car, it is beautifully detailed throughout, and would be a centerpiece of any collection of Ferrari memorabilia.
