One of the earliest examples produced, this LaFerrari is finished in traditional Rosso Corsa with a black roof, matching black wing-mirrors, a black interior with red highlights, and black four-point harnesses. It was delivered new to its first owner in its native Italy in April 2014. The car is outfitted with brake callipers in Rosso, anti-stone chipping film, telemetry kit and cameras, front nose lifter, and 20-inch forged wheels – all the trappings of Ferrari’s ultimate, most expensive hypercar to date. The presentation of the car is quite similar to the example shown at the 2013 Geneva International Motor Show, during which Ferrari announced the limited run of only 499 examples, intended, of course, for Ferrari’s preferred clientele.

This model was also a complete break from tradition in that the powerplant is not only extremely powerful, boasting a total output from both its 6.3-litre V-12 engine and electric motor of 950 brake horsepower, but it also noticeably reduces the carbon footprint. Looking to make the car a marked improvement over the already exceptional Enzo in every way, Ferrari set its goal to produce a car that would not only be faster and more fuel-efficient than the Enzo, but also one that would be no larger in footprint or heavier in weight—lofty expectations, considering that the Enzo was certainly no slouch. Contemporary magazine road tests indicate full acceleration to 100 km/h in less than three seconds. The 200 km/h mark arrives in less than seven seconds, and the 300 km/h mark in 15 seconds! Keep accelerating, and the LaFerrari will accelerate to a top speed of over 350 km/h, noticeably faster than Enzo and any other road-going Ferrari ever produced.

Purchased by its current custodian from Cesarmeccanica, the official Ferrari dealership in Salerno, in 2015, the LaFerrari is presented today in near flawless condition, having only been driven 180 kilometres since new, about half of which was accumulated in its current ownership. Furthermore, the consignor notes that the car was serviced by Kroymans Ferrari of the Netherlands in his ownership and remains ready to drive and enjoy, should the next owner so desire.

Undoubtedly the most incredible Ferrari to have been produced thus far into the 21st century, the LaFerrari is nothing short of a game-changer and proved to be more than a worthy successor to the Enzo, providing performance that was truly electrifying. A virtually as-new example in traditional Rosso Corsa, this LaFerrari would be a prime addition to the stable of any tifosi, sure to bring them into the upper echelon of collectors worldwide.
