Created by sculptor Stanley Wanlass in 1988, this charming bronze sculpture features a young man, his lady friend, and their collie in search of gasoline during the early years of the Brass Era. The detailed base depicts several scenes of the same couple speeding along joyously prior to their running out of gas. This piece is marked as the foundry copy of the 35 examples that were cast and displays striking details throughout.
