The 365 GTC/4 was developed to meet the ever-growing demand among Ferrari’s clientele for a luxurious, high performance automobile with accommodations for up to four passengers. The new model represented a very logical progression for Ferrari. Its chassis was essentially derived from the contemporary 365 GTB/4 Daytona, while its five-speed gearbox was mounted in tandem with the engine, and the self-leveling rear suspension had been proven in the 365 GT 2+2. Long appreciated for its driving manners and Colombo-derived V-12 engine, the 365 GTC/4 capably upheld Ferrari’s performance image with its superb high-speed touring ability.

This particular U.S. specification Ferrari 365 GTC/4 was treated to a no-expense-spared restoration costing in excess of $256,000. The car was then sold to the next owner and maintained to concours standards by a respected Boston-area Italian sports car specialist.

The current owner acquired the car in 2001, when it joined his large collection of Ferraris. It has traveled just under 500 miles, receiving fastidious servicing and maintenance by marque specialists. The odometer on this beautiful 365 GTC/4 reads under 6,350 km, although this cannot be confirmed as original. The restoration is of excellent quality, making this Ferrari one of the finest Ferrari 365 GTC/4s we have ever offered.
