Est. 70 bhp, 749 cc OHV V-twin engine.

The introduction of the V7 Sport in 1971 is attributed to Moto Guzzi engineer Lino Tonti, who had produced a frame to accommodate the new 90-degree transverse V-twin motor developed for the less sporting V7 Special. The works Moto Guzzi V7 was a competitive racing bike, weighing in at 160 kg. Its 749-cc engine produced 68 hp at 6,500 rpm and allowed a top speed in excess of 220 km/h.

This V7 racing special is finished with a green fairing and red frame and is presented nicely with racing roundels and Borrani alloy wheels. The carburettors are twin Dellorto PHM40s, and the exhaust is an un-silenced racing pipe. Twin front brake discs are fitted, and a Veglia 8,000 rpm competition tachometer is centrally mounted on the handlebars. This is certainly an exciting Italian racing special!
