This lot is a 1:1 scale replica of the Arai helmet worn by Sebastian Vettel during the 2020 Grand Premio della Toscana Ferrari 1000, Ferrari’s 1,000th grand prix. Similar in design to his usual helmet, defined by the full-length German flag running across the helmet over the visitor, the flag splits two different technical drawings of Ferrari Formula 1 cars. On the driver’s right with a crisp, white backdrop is a drawing of the SF1000. On the left with a tan, aged backdrop is a drawing of Ferrari’s first Formula 1 car, the 125 F1. This helmet represents a memorable moment in Scuderia Ferrari’s history, replicating a unique design worn by a four-time World Champion in his final season with the Scuderia.
