Born in Switzerland in March 1999, Mick is the son of legendary seven-time Formula One World Champion, Michael Schumacher. In 2018, Mick won the FIA Formula 3 Championship, having dominated the second half of the season, and in January 2019 he followed in the footsteps of Scuderia Ferrari’s current F1 driver, Charles LeClerc, in joining the ranks of the Ferrari Driver Academy. In 2019, Mick graduated to Formula 2 with PREMA, where he ended the season 12th with 1 race win and 2 fastest laps. In 2020 Mick has continued his relationship with PREMA and as of November 30, 2020, he leads the 2020 Drivers’ standings with 2 wins and 10 podium finishes.

On the morning of the 2020 Grand Premio della Toscana Ferrari 1000, at the historic Mugello Circuit, Mick got behind the wheel of the Ferrari F2004 previously driven by his father in his final world championship with Scuderia Ferrari to complete a number of demonstration laps to celebrate Scuderia Ferrari’s 1000th GP appearance and his father’s incredible place in the history of the team and Formula 1.
