340 hp, 327 cu. in. V-8 engine with single four-barrel carburetor, four-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension with upper and lower A-arms, leaf spring and live axle rear suspension, and four-wheel hydraulic brakes. Wheelbase: 102 in.

Corvette styling was significantly updated in 1961 and 1962 and included a newer, tidier rear end design with revised trim. The aggressive chrome toothed grille of the earlier models was replaced with a stylish fine mesh. This streamlined appearance is exemplified on this tidy Roman Red roadster. Having received a thorough professional restoration, it has been driven sparingly since completion. It is equipped with the very desirable 340 horsepower V-8 and a four-speed that is clean and tidy and displays the proper hoses, clamps, and fittings throughout. A quick glance under the car reveals a nearly spotless frame and exhaust system also indicative of minimal use. The passenger compartment is equally attractive with restored gauges, a pushbutton AM radio, new carpets, and accessory seatbelts. The brightwork is excellent throughout, and overall, this is a well-presented Corvette suitable for display on the show field or use on the open road.
