1970 "LaBelle" Lyster Triumph 800cc Racer. Colin Lyster, the Rhodesian native who found fame in Europe first as a racer and later went on to design frames for racing motorcycles, designed and built this motorcycle with the alliance of Ed LaBelle, former Canadian National Champion Roadracer and longtime motorcycle drag racer. While Lyster put together the package of triple disc brakes and a lowboy style chassis, Ed supplied the 800cc Triumph twin that powered this woolly beast. According to a press release in a 1973 Cafe Racer magazine, no more than a handful of this type where built and this bike wears the #3 production number. This competition motorcycle will be sold on a bill of sale w/o title.
