351-cid, 290-hp OHV V-8 engine, four-speed manual transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and disc-front, drum-rear power hydraulic brakes. Wheelbase: 108-inches.

Carroll Shelby’s Mustang GT 350 made big news at its introduction in 1965. Its 289 cubic inch V-8 had been reworked to give 306-hp, and Koni shocks, a larger front stabilizer and a one-inch sway bar improved handling. A total of 562 cars, all white fastback coupes, to be sold by selected Ford dealers.

In 1966, Shelby went mainstream, preparing a fleet of 1,000 black GT 350 coupes with gold stripes for Hertz Car Rental. Designated GT 350H, they were offered at selected Hertz offices.

The revised Mustang body for 1967 received new Shelby styling cues, including air scoops on the rear roof pillars, and on the rear quarters where they cooled the brakes. A convertible was offered for the first time in 1968, when the GT 350 engine became a modified 302.

For 1969, Shelby put a new grille and hood on the Mustang. The GT 350 now used a Windsor 351-cid V-8, rated at 290-hp. Production comprised 1,085 coupes and 194 convertibles.

This 1969 GT 350 coupe presents well in Acapulco Blue with white stripes. All contours are correct and the paint is in very good condition. Only a few pits at the front are visible on the brightwork. The interior, in black vinyl, in good condition and is equipped with the sport deck folding rear seat. Other features include a Philco AM radio, power steering, power front disc brakes, console gauges, windshield washers, clock and a roll bar.
