This beautiful Packard roadster is a restored original car with an ownership history that can be traced back to its initial owner. The car was originally purchased by Mr. Greg Orten in 1934. Mr. Orten was the owner of the Bar-Go Ranch located in Santa Barbara, California and remains in his family.

The Packard is powered by a 384.8-cid, 145-hp straight eight-cylinder engine that is backed by a three-speed floor-shift manual transmission with uncommon Mitchell overdrive. The car features beautiful charcoal-colored paint with elegant red leather interior. The Packard has a rumble seat, optional dual sidemounts with hard covers fitted with rearview mirrors, optional and original radio, optional clock, swan hood ornament, skirted fenders, wind-wings, wire wheels and wide whitewall tires.

This lovely car received body work, new paint, new interior, new convertible top, new chrome and mechanical work when restored approximately thirteen years ago. The elegant white-faced instruments have been rebuilt. The wood dash has been refinished with beautiful results highlighting the Carpathian elm and American walnut trim. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and have accumulated approximately 3,000 miles since.

The Coupe Roadster is a wonderful running and driving example that toured flawlessly for 1,500 miles in 2012. It also was awarded “Most Elegant Car” at the 2010 Columbia River Concours d’Elegance. The esteemed Classic Car Club of America considers the car a Full Classic and is eligible for their event roster.
