Like its predecessor, the Model T, the Model A was available in multiple configurations. During its production span, which lasted until 1931, Ford produced over four million examples, of which, one of the most popular body styles was the rumble seat roadster. It offered compact design, allowing two to three persons in the front, while the trunk-area lid opened to allow room for another two grown-ups or possibly three children as passengers.

The Model A has a 200.5-cid, 40-hp L-head four-cylinder engine and a three-speed floor-mounted manual shift transmission. The brakes are four-wheel mechanical drums; the cars wheelbase is 103.5-inches. Presented in a very period-correct two-tone brown with orange accents, this roadster shows very well. Features include a grille stone guard, a rear spare, Ford step plates, Ford glass, dual side mirrors, a vacuum operated wiper, whitewall tires and a rare Auto-Lite manifold interior heater. This car shows signs of an older yet full restoration with a detailed undercarriage. The upholstery is still in excellent condition, as is the cloth top. A bag containing side curtains is also included for cooler evening trips. As Model A Fords are very reasonable investments, this nicely restored roadster will be a pleasure to drive and enjoy.
