Buick introduced the Marquette as a companion car after the success Oakland and Cadillac enjoyed spawning Pontiac and LaSalle. With only one year of production, this is a very rare Model 35 Phaeton powered by a 213-cid, L-head six-cylinder engine that produces approximately 70 horsepower. Only 2,170 of this Marquette body style were built. Only eight of these cars are thought to exist, with five of these being in the United States. This Phaeton has been restored within the last fifteen years.
