This beautiful and historically significant car was the first front wheel drive automobile produced in the USA since the 1937 Cord, and won many awards, including Motor Trend's 1966 "Car of the Year" Award. This desirable first year example has always been garaged and pampered and is in excellent condition throughout. The exterior color is Ocean Mist, and the interior color is turquoise. The car has had the same Arizona owner for the past 15 years, and shows just 92,000 original miles. The car retains its original 425 cid 385 bhp engine. Deluxe options include air conditioning, power seat, power windows, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, and is fitted with cruise control and cornering lamps. Car has had one repaint in the original color; the original interior is nearly flawless, and the car starts and drives beautifully.
