Cal. 943 manual winding nickel lever movement, 38 jewels, silvered dial with guilloché center, painted black Arabic numerals, blued steel hands, aperture revealing visible striking mechanism regulator, inner minute track, 18k pink gold rectangular Reverso case, repeating slide to the band, case, dial, and movement signed, with an 18k pink gold Jaeger-LeCoultre folding clasp.
Accompanied by a Jaeger-LeCoultre guarantee form, vellum movement diagrams, and a signed bi-fold.
The present model was launched in 1994 and produced in a limited series of 500 pink gold examples.
The movement is running at time of cataloguing, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time
or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer’s discretion. Please note that Sotheby’s does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
Case in overall excellent condition with light wear. Some very light scuffing to the case overall. A small scratch to the upper right chamfered lug area. Repeater slider is slightly stiff. Repeater chiming in phase. Dial and movement in excellent condition. Reserve side of the case is solid pink gold.
Please be advised that the bands on this watch are made of materials derived from endangered or otherwise protected species (i.e., alligator and crocodile) and thus not sold with the watch, they are for display purposes only. We will remove these bands prior to shipping.
