Little-remembered today, Lincoln’s seventh-generation Continental “Mark” was highly regarded in its time for its performance, engineering, and superior comfort. The Mark VII from The Shrine of the Holy Grille is, typical of this collection, a remarkably original and very low-mileage car, with just 2,519 actual miles recorded at the time of cataloguing. As an LSC model it features both the first ABS used on an American production car, as well as air suspension, both highly desirable features. Accompanied by the original window sticker, it may well be the lowest-mileage Mark VII LSC remaining in existence, and marks one of the best opportunities to complete one’s Continental “Mark” collection.
