The 1967 Grand Prix; introduced as an exciting new body form and considered a supreme example of elegant restraint, with concealed headlights and windshield wipers so as not to interrupt the dramatic sweep of its lines. This is the only year that the Grand Prix Convertible was included in the model line-up, with only 5,856 being produced. The Starlight Black convertible on offer has a white top with tonneau and interior; two years ago the car received a precisely executed frame-off restoration.

The Grand Prix has garnered numerous show awards for first place, including Gold finishes at the Muscle Cars and Corvette Nationals in Chicago two years in a row. At the most recent event, 980 out of 1,000 points were scored in the Concours Certified class.

The car is presented as originally built, Pontiac Historical Services documented, and fitted with a 400-cid, 350-hp V-8 engine that is coupled to a Turbo-HydraMatic transmission with center console. The factory cast aluminum eight-bolt wheels add to the powerful look. The interior has black carpeting, bucket seats, console-mounted tachometer, simulated burled elm woodgrain dash and steering wheel, air conditioning, power windows, remote driver’s mirror and radio.
