With only 730 miles from new, this 1976 Eldorado Convertible is virtually a new car and is a great example of the end of the line for the full-size Eldorado production model. Originally advertised as the "only convertible built in America," the Eldorado was sold as a legend-to-be and remains one today. Lifelong Cadillac owners lined up to buy the nearly 19-foot luxury convertible. Powered by a 500-cid, 190-hp V-8 engine, 1976 would be the last year of the largest engine to power a production Cadillac. Among the many standard features on this desirable Eldorado is front-wheel drive, four-wheel disc-brakes, power top, windows, six-way seat, door locks, AM/FM radio with power antenna, numerous lighting elements along with all of the luxury amenities that one expects and demands from an automobile of this stature.
