For those first owners who wanted excitement and sporting fun in 1913, a Model T was an easy conversion to a Speedster, much as the case with many cars of the period. Driving a Model T is always an experience, but the added wind-in-the-face Speedster brings more smiles per mile.

The 1913 Ford Model T Speedster presented here resided for much of its life in a museum in Georgia, and was earlier owned by a Ford dealer in Virginia. The Speedster was treated to a restoration, which was completed in the mid-nineties. Since that time it has been shown in several local shows and parades in the Southeastern United States. It is still quite presentable in vibrant colors and carries an assortment of brass livery that includes radiator shell, steering wheel spokes, rear carriage light, spindle caps and motometer. It is further enriched with original painted wood wheels, and by being a proficient running example, this sporting Model T would be an exciting car to take on a Brass and Gas tour or any other Model T friendly event.
