396-cid, 325-hp OHV V-8 engine, three-speed Hydra-Matic transmission, coil spring independent front suspension, live rear axle with trailing arm coil spring suspension, and four-wheel power hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 119-inches

For 1966, Chevrolet’s Impala Super Sport retained its distinctive interior, with bucket seats, center console and SS ornamentation, but special exterior trim was restricted to model nameplates and SS emblems on the grille and trunk. A full range of power options was still available.

This Super Sport convertible is powered by the 325-hp Turbo-Fire 396, coupled to a Turbo 400 Hydra-Matic transmission. Equipped with power steering, power brakes, power top, windshield washers, pushbutton radio, heater and seat belts, it has the Super Sport bucket seats and center console in stunning white, contrasting nicely with the Mist Blue exterior.

A frame-off restoration, it has excellent contours and paint, and very good brightwork. The white convertible top has a matching boot. The engine compartment and undercarriage are superbly detailed, with particular attention paid to finish and hardware. Recipient of several AACA National awards, it has achieved National Senior first place status in class judging. As fine a ’66 Super Sport as you will find, it will enhance any collection.
