This neat Hi-Boy has lived at least three distinct lives since the late 1940s, when it was raced at Portland and El Mirage. Most recently, an original steel ’29 Model A Roadster body was installed and as the “Bamboo Bomber”, it features a WWII combat plane theme with a multitude of period hot rod parts, including a hot 59A “Flathead” V-8.
