Unveiled at the 2011 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, where it received the Design award for Concepts and Prototypes, Aston Martin’s V12 Zagato was to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic DB4 GT Zagato, the first collaboration between the two storied companies. The V12 Zagato not only won the hearts of enthusiasts on the show field, but as well on the racetrack, where the model placed 5th and 6th in class at the 39th ADAC Nürburgring that same year. It was quite an accomplishment for a racing car that was not heavily modified over its street-legal sibling.

Each of the 65 road-going cars built was individually designed and hand-built for their respective owners. That said, this example stands out from the rest. This car was delivered new to Switzerland to its owner, a VIP customer of Aston Martin, and was the first V12 Zagato built. Built to European specifications, it boasts a plethora of custom touches executed by Aston Martin’s ‘Q’ division, responsible for handling such bespoke features. The beautiful Alloro Green paintwork is complemented by the two-tone Sahara Tan and Arctic Blue leather interior with a unique Zagato motif and contrasting red stitching throughout, even on the headliner. Further red-coloured details can be found on the bespoke Aston Martin badges on the boot and tail.

Since delivery, the limited-edition Aston Martin has accumulated a mere 275 km and is presented in as-new condition, including its original owners’ manuals. As the first of its kind, this V12 Zagato would highlight any world-class collection of Aston Martins or modern supercars.

Costruita secondo le specifiche europee, vanta una pletora di personalizzazioni eseguite dalla divisione 'Q' di Aston Martin, responsabile della gestione di tali realizzazioni su misura. La bellissima vernice Alloro Green è completata dall'abitacolo in pelle, bicolore, Sahara Tan e Arctic Blue con un esclusivo motivo Zagato e cuciture rosse a contrasto ovunque, anche sul soffitto. A partire dalla consegna, questa Aston Martin in edizione limitata ha percorso solo 275 km e viene presentata come nuova, ed include i manuali uso e manutenzione originali. Come primo esemplare della serie, questa V12 Zagato aggiungerebbe importanza a qualsiasi collezione di livello mondiale sia di Aston Martin sia di supercar moderne.
