Utilizing a Mercedes-Benz Roadster shell sourced after an extensive search, the body required more than 70 hours of body work by Geza Kardos alone to bring its beauty back. Since the selected body is heavier and presented different anchor points from a regular pedal car, a brand new frame was constructed by Adam Davis. It is capable of sustaining and lowering the body to traditional pedal car height while accommodating a customized wheel set up under the wheel wells to enhance the sleek design and proportions of the 300 SL. Sporting the traditional color combination of silver over burgundy with period correct wheels and added chrome trim. Proceeds from this sale go to benefit the Antique Automobile Club of America’s (AACA) building fund. The AACA is a 502 C 3 charitable organization.
