The MGP W02 is the second car designed and built by Mercedes after acquiring the 2009 World Constructors’ Champions Brawn GP. The new Silver Arrow was driven by seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher and Nico Rosberg in the 2011 Formula 1 season. That year Mercedes would end the season 4th in the Constructors’ standings.
This fascinating rear body cover is inscribed “L3” as well as “MS” and is believed to have been used for one of Michael Schumacher’s cars during that season.
