Style 54-1037D. 115 hp, 235.5 cu. in. inline six-cylinder engine, three-speed manual transmission, independent front suspension with coil springs, semi-floating rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 115 in.

Greater use of chrome and brightwork in 1954 was a sign of things to come. The Bel Air now had additional trim around the windshield, full-length body spears, and bright metal guards. The pillarless hardtop sport coupe was a popular choice, with over 66,000 produced. The example offered here shows a nice combination of older restoration and original components. The India Ivory and Turquoise exterior and engine compartment were both restored some time ago, yet they still show particularly well, down to its excellent stainless and exterior trim and proper hoses and clamps under the hood. The vintage upholstery has held up over the years, with nearly no blemishes and only slight discoloration from age. Features include the Blue Flame six, a heater, an AM radio, and a well-appointed trunk with a rubber mat, spare, and jack. This is simply a great, old Chevrolet with a lovely patina that needs nothing except regular driving and appreciation of its beauty.
