While his stint at Ford may seem brief, Eugene “Bob” Gregorie was largely responsible for the practical but modern lines of the Ford from 1935 to 1948, and several of these models are highly regarded today. Gregorie’s efforts can be seen in this brilliant 1946 Ford sedan. Purchased by the prior owner in 1997 and fully restored in 2004, this stunning Super DeLuxe is accompanied by photo-documentation of the process. The paint, body, and external trim remain excellent overall, and the underside shows nearly no wear. Accessories such as a clock, factory radio, dual visors, and an under-dash heater complete the well finished and correct interior. Also included are a title from 1957 and documentation of the engine rebuild. Bob Gregorie likely never imagined the appreciation that his designs would garner, but here is a testament to that earned respect and pursuit of perfection.
