After a 10-year hiatus, the NSX returned as Acura’s flagship supercar for the 2017 model year, riding on an aluminum-intensive space frame with carbon fiber floor with a body designed to direct airflow over, under, and through the car more efficiently. Other modern improvements include magnetorheological dampers that can control roll, pitch, and squat independently at all four corners. Again, like the original car, the new NSX offers a great seating position and excellent visibility.

Where the original first-generation NSX (1991–2005) utilized a lightweight and naturally aspirated 3.0-liter VTEC V-6 with a manual (or optional automatic) transmission, the 2017 NSX featured a bespoke twin-turbo V-6 combined with a three electric motor hybrid system with a dual-clutch transmission. The non-VTEC 75-degree twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 produces 500 hp from 6,500 to its 7,500-rpm redline and 406 foot-pounds of torque, available from 2,000 to 6,000 rpm. The engine is assisted by three separate electric motors. The first sits between the engine and nine-speed dual-clutch transaxle. That motor is rated 47 hp and 109 foot-pounds. A front-mounted twin-motor unit uses two 36-hp, 54–foot-pound electric motors to power the front wheels and provide torque vectoring during cornering. Total system output is rated 573 hp and 476 foot-pounds. Acura claimed the 3,800-lb. NSX can achieve 60 mph in about 3.0 seconds and is electronically limited to 191 mph. Even with all this power and performance, this exotic hybrid supercar has an EPA rating of 21/22 mpg city/highway.

This stunning 2017 Acura NSX, finished from the factory in the upgraded color of Casino White Pearl with contrasting black interior, was acquired by its current owner having only accumulated 2,700 carefully driven miles since new. This NSX is lavishly optioned, including carbon fiber interior and exterior sport package, semi-Aniline leather sport seats, carbon fiber engine cover and rear spoiler, ceramic brakes with black calipers, signature Y-spoke black wheels, and technology package.

Only 581 of these Acura supercars were produced for the 2017 model year, this car being number 223. Having already owned from new the Berlina Black 1991 NSX, serial no. 222, now offered here as well, the consignor jumped at the chance to acquire this 2017 NSX and create a complementary pairing with these two exceptional examples. The next owner is now presented with a very rare opportunity to acquire two pristine NSX models, sequentially numbered, from bookend generations.
