No gathering of significant post-war Lincoln models would be complete without one of Elwood Engel’s elegant, minimalist Continentals of the early 1960s, famous for their distinctive grille, knife-edged fenders, and robust, ahead-of-their-time build quality. Jim and Carolyn Popp’s 1962 Continental, offered from their Shrine of the Holy Grille, has had its exterior panels refinished in the original Sultana White, but remains otherwise original, including its optional red Metallic-Finish Leather interior, with the optional factory air conditioning, six-way power seats, and tinted glass. It remains solid throughout and has 28,000 believed actual miles at the time of cataloguing, making it a worthy part of this collection of original Ford products.
