The Imperial Southampton was regarded as a wonderful rendition of Exner’s Forward Look. It reflected modern, yet conservative design that also expressed individuality.

This Southampton was the recipient of a no-expense-spared, concours quality rotisserie restoration on one of the “purist and most original examples available.” The car was sold new in Long Beach, California and lived a pampered life in the wine country of Sonoma, California. The build has been fully documented and early pictures show the amazing condition this Imperial was in upon arrival to the owner. The car still retained all of the original paint and the restoration team was the first to take this car apart since leaving the factory.

During the process all of the inspection and assembly markings were documented. The Imperial is finished in Cloud White with a Turquoise roof and Turquoise Eagle fabric with White Leather upholstery just as it was born. The fabric was original new old stock material that was sourced and is in impeccable condition; the crisp edges of the Eagle are quite noticeable. Every detail was tended to; of course this includes finishing the underside of the car. A color scan was performed in addition to working with the Chrysler Museum to help insure accuracy.

One of just 2,094 built in this body style in 1956; this fine car is generously optioned with factory air conditioning, ultra-rare Hi-Fi record player, Town & Country AM radio, whitewall tires; power steering, brakes, windows and seats. A thrilling experience awaits you.
