Starting in 1957 through the end of the decade, Plymouth was known for being ahead of their time. Strong styling and futuristic performance helped move Plymouth back into third in automotive industry sales. Plymouth brought to life its limited-edition high performance Fury in 1955. From the start, Fury’s were only available in white with distinctive gold anodized trim. This car includes its brown interior along with power steering and brakes. One of just 7,438 built, it is powered by a strong V-8 engine coupled to a smooth automatic transmission, it has the power when you want it and the reliability when you need it. The Fury came only as a two-door hardtop with Fury rear fender nameplates; upswept front bumper end extensions; safety padded dash; padded sunvisors, foam seats; special clock, back–up lights and directional signals.

This particular Plymouth Fury has very recognizable body features with its tallfins, fender skirts, whitewall tires and dual sideview mirrors. The torsion bar front suspension enabled the Fury with a soft ride and superior handling. This beautifully restored automobile has been painted in white with contrasting brown interior. The Plymouth name is rudimentary in the field of American classic cars and this well restored Fury shows the nostalgia of what people enjoyed back in 1957. Anyone who has a linking to cars of the 1950s era knows that Plymouth played a large roll in the progression of the industry, and helped the industry achieve its current status.
