- Powered by the optional 5.7-liter V-8 engine, which also included the optional, heavy-duty 700r4 automatic transmission and 8.5-inch differential. (The standard engine was a 5.0-liter V-8, and because of the gas guzzler tax imposed at the time, it is believed that the larger engine option was not often chosen.)
