Originally finished in two-tone Palladium Silver & black over black vinyl, this Firebird sports coupe left Pontiac’s Lordstown, Ohio factory in late February, 1969. It is now presented having been meticulously refashioned in the style of a Trans-Am Ram Air IV, with an appropriate, and highly detailed, black exterior over red leather interior—compete with accent stripes and replica badging. The interior is rounded out by the fitment of a matching monochrome dashboard and carpet kit. The 400 cu.-inch engine is adorned with a bespoke intake plate completed in a scheme-matched livery. The M21 Muncie four-speed manual transmission is controlled through a tasteful, floor-mounted chrome Hurst shift assembly. A set of aggressive 17-inch Year One honeycomb wheels are presently shod in fresh BF Goodrich ‘g-force’ tires at all four corners. Overall, this custom Trans Am Tribute is finished to a high degree of polish not commonly seen on resto-mods of this style.
