German Fahrzeugbrief
  • European specification example, delivered new to Germany
  • Just 23,500 km from new
  • Regularly serviced and maintained throughout its life

Whilst the first generation of Porsche’s 997 GT3 RS was truly an excellent automobile and one that raised the bar following the fantastic 996 GT3 RS, Porsche was able to make some significant updates to the platform for the 997.2 facelift. The displacement of the Mezger flat-six cylinder engine was raised to 3.8-litres, which brought about an increase of 35 bhp, raising total output to 444 bhp (450 PS). Thanks to a larger rear spoiler and a revised front bumper, the car was able to achieve even greater downforce than its predecessor.

Delivered new to Germany in Grey Black with Guards Red graphics and wheels, this Clubsport package-equipped GT3 RS has travelled just 23,500 km since new. Optional extras in addition to the Clubsport package include adjustable bi-xenon headlights, 90-litre fuel tank, climate control, alcantara headlining, centre console storage compartment lid in alcantara with Porsche logo, handbrake lever and gearshift in alcantara, leather steering wheel, dynamic engine mounts, the PCM package, and a painted roll bar amongst other options.

Remaining in Germany for its entire life, it has been regularly serviced and maintained by authorized Porsche dealers since day one. Even though a decade has passed since the car’s introduction, these 997.2 GT3 RS’ are heralded as amongst the very best of Porsche’s GT3 range of 911s. A true modern day collectable worthy of sitting alongside a 1973 911 Carrera RS or a 964 Carrera RS, this example is ready to be driven and enjoyed as its manufacturers would have intended.
